FAQ

What is a liquid ring vacuum pump?

A liquid ring vacuum pump uses a rotating impeller inside an elliptical casing partially filled with a sealing liquid (usually water) to form a moving ring. Gas is trapped between impeller blades, compressed and discharged. It can handle wet and corrosive gas streams.

Do your pumps really bolt on to existing Nash pumps?

Yes. We supply dimension-compatible equivalents: flange sizes and orientation, foundation bolt pattern and shaft height match the original Nash drawing. We send the outline drawing with your quotation so you can check before ordering.

Which Nash models do you replace?

2BE1, 2BE3/2BE4, 2BV2/2BV5/2BV6, NEV2, AT/TC cone two-stage, CL, Premier 2620 (2BE31200), and SIHI TC/FLS/LEMD types.

What materials are available?

Cast iron, cast iron with stainless shaft sleeve, stainless steel and duplex impeller/casing options, chosen for your process gas and sealing liquid. Mechanical seals are available.

Do you provide performance curves and test reports?

Yes — each pump is tested before dispatch and the performance curve and outline drawing are provided. Test and material reports can be supplied on request.

What is the warranty and packing?

Standard warranty is 12 months. Export pumps are packed in fumigated wooden crates.
